The 2026 membership application cycle will open on Friday, November 14th, 2025 and will close on Thursday, January 15th, 2026

• Required Documents:
  • ASES Application including a personal statement
  • CV
  • Shoulder and Elbow CV
    • Active/Associate applicants must complete this form with scoring
    • Corresponding/Affiliate applicants must complete this form, but now scoring is required
    • Candidate/Fellow applicants do not need to complete this form
  • Photo
  • Required sponsorship forms based on which membership category you are applying for

Steps for the application process

• Complete the Membership Application.
• Reach out to potential sponsors and ask them to complete the sponsorship form on your behalf.
• You will receive a confirmation email from ASES staff once we have received all of your materials, including sponsor forms. If you do not receive this email please follow up with ASES staff to confirm that your application was received.
• The Membership Committee begins the review process once the application period closes.
• Applicants will be notified of the results by late June/early July.
